Acacia seyal, Talha
Clean gum is a discipline, not an accident
Consistency is what keeps buyers coming back. Every consignment moves through the same six controlled stages, from tapping in the field to a sealed, documented export lot.
Harvest
Natural exudate is collected by hand from tapped acacia trees during the dry season, when sap dries hard and clean.
Sort and clean
Nodules are hand-sorted to remove bark, sand and foreign matter, then separated by colour and clarity.
Grade
Material is classified into Grade 1 (Acacia senegal) and Grade 2 (Acacia seyal) against agreed visual and size standards.
Lab test
Representative samples are tested for moisture, ash, acid-insoluble matter and microbiology. A Certificate of Analysis is issued per lot.
Pack
Gum is packed in food-grade, moisture-barrier bags (25 / 50 kg) or bulk formats, labelled with lot and origin.
Export
Consignments are documented and shipped with full traceability to origin and the paperwork buyers need to clear customs.
From the heart of the African gum belt
South Sudan sits within the African gum belt, the acacia zone that has supplied the world's gum arabic for generations. It holds large areas of acacia woodland that are still lightly tapped. PureExude Enterprise Ltd works at that source, close to the producers and the trees.
As global buyers diversify their supply, origin-direct, traceable gum from South Sudan is a real opportunity. Our job is to turn that raw advantage into consistent, documented, export-ready product.
- Sourced directly at origin, with a transparent supply chain
- Abundant, good-quality natural exudate in our collection area
- Supports local smallholder producers and sustainable agroforestry
- Traceable lots with documentation buyers can audit
